Iceskating.ie booking terms & conditions
By purchasing tickets from iceskating.ie you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions and have read and agree to the use of the information you provide us with.
Insurance
Iceskating.ie takes all reasonable care to ensure your comfort and safety however this is an ice rink where falls are likely to occur and consequently we specifically *do not accept any
liability whatsoever for injuries sustained while ice skating*. Use of the facilities is entirely at
the user’s own risk. There is no insurance cover for injuries which occur while ice skating.
Booking Tickets
E-Tickets will be sent out via email following booking confirmation. It is the customers
responsibility to ensure the correct email address has been provided during the booking
process.
Ticket Validity
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged for another date and payments are non-refundable.
Tickets can only be used for the date and time specified on the ticket.
Ticket Holders are requested to arrive 20 minutes before their session begins.
Late admission to your skating session is not guaranteed but will be offered wherever possible. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they arrive at the appropriate time for their skating session, extra time will not be added to the end of a session for late arrivals. Each skating session is 50 mins long with 20mins between each skating session.
On arrival at the venue you may be asked for the following where appropriate;
– Appropriate proof of entitlement to any discounted ticket i.e. student card
– A legible copy of the e-ticket which can be scanned on entry (digital or paper copy)
– Iceskating.ie reserves the right to charge the normal event rate to anyone not able to
validate their ticket in the above manner
– For concessions/carers tickets relevant ID and documentation must be presented on
entry
Definition of ticket types
An adult ticket is suitable for any person aged 18 and above
An U-18 ticket is suitable for any person aged under 18
A family of 3 tickets covers 2 x Adults and 1 x U-18 or 1 x Adult and 2 x U-18
A Family of 4 ticket cover 2 x Adults and 2 x U-18 or 1 x Adult and 3 x u-18
Earlybird Tickets cover any person for 1 entry
Skating Aids:
We have made the decision to make skating aids bookable for each and every session at a cost
of €5. As a result skate aids may not be available for skaters on the day if not booked in
advance. As much as we would like to, it is simply not possible to provide a penguin for every child. Please
note there are height restrictions for the use of the penguin skating aids (which means these are
not suitable for adults or children taller than 1.2m)
Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds or cancellations; there is no legal right to cancel as the
booking is for leisure activities to take place on a specific date as described in regulation 13 of
the European Union Consumer Information (Rights) Regulations 2013.
Rules
It is prohibited to take any of the following into an iceskating.ie premises;
– Weapons, blades, flammable liquids or other articles that cause injury
– Skateboards, rollerblades, rollerskates, bikes, scooters and other forms of personal
transport
– Pets or animals of any nature
People attending the event who are aged 12 and under are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is required to remain on the premises for the duration of the ice skating session. Supervising Parents or Guardians are not required to have a ticket and do not have to
take part in the activity.
Smoking/Vaping inside the venue is strictly prohibited
Staff and management reserve the right to refuse entry at any time.
Aggressive or abusive behaviour towards any member of staff or patron will not be tolerated
Strictly no admittance outside of opening hours
Iceskating.ie reserves the right to prosecute any persons found damaging or defacing any part of the premises
Only food and beverage purchased from the venue may be consumed in the venue
Iceskating.ie is not responsible for damage or loss of personal property.
You may be photographed while at the event and your image may be published and or used in marketing or promotional activities undertaken by the company.
By purchasing a ticket you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions herein.
