Q. Where is Iceskating Dublin Located?
A.Ice Skating Blanchardstown is situated in Millenium Park, with access to the park behind the Drive-Thru McDonalds. Those travelling via car can follow signs for the White Car Park, free of charge. There are also over 600 bus services to Blanchardstown centre every day, visit dublinbus.ie for more info.

Q. What are your opening hours for Ice skating Blanchardstown?
A. Ice Skating Blanchardstown opens on Friday, November 18th, 2022, and runs until Sunday, January 29th, 2023.

Q. Does Iceskating Blanchardstown open everyday?
A. No, we do not open every day. Please ensure to check the online schedule before visiting the venue as there are some days our opening hours may vary. Booking in advance is required for this event.

Q. Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
A. The tickets are nonrefundable and non-transferable, you can gift your tickets to someone else if you cannot attend on the day.

Q. How do I book Ice Skating Blanchardstown?
A. Bookings must be made in advance on our website www.iceskating.ie.

Q. How long does the session at Ice Skating Blanchardstown last?
A.Each skating session lasts for 50 minutes. We cannot extend the session time for those who arrive late.

Q. What time should I arrive at Ice Skating Blanchardstown last?
A.We recommend arriving at the venue 20 minutes in advance of your skate session.

Q. What if it’s raining?
A. Ice Skating Blanchardstown is an indoor event housed in a Marquee and will go ahead in the rain. In the event of extreme weather which does not allow us to open, vouchers will be issued automatically and you will be sent an email regarding your canceled session. We recommend checking our social media channels/email inbox for advice on days when there are extreme weather conditions.

Q. What happens if there is traffic or delays?
A. Where an incident has occurred and you may be late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you on the next skating slot that has availability.

Q. What is the minimum age?
A.Usually aged 3 and up, once they are very solid on their feet. We have special skates with 2 blades and Penguin Skate Aids to help. Skate aids are €5 and must be booked in advance on www.iceskating.ie We would recommend bringing them down for a look first and see what they think as if they don’t like it on the day we don’t offer refunds or vouchers.

Q. Do I need to stay on-site while my kids skate?
A. Any children under the age of 12 need to be supervised by an adult. You do not have to participate but you must stay on site.

Q. Will penguins be available at Ice skating in Blanchardstown?
A. Penguins are available and can only be used in the small rink area, not on the trail. We have made the decision to make skating aids bookable for each and every session at a cost of €5. As a result skate aids may not be available for skaters on the day if not booked in advance. As much as we would like to, it is simply not possible to provide a penguin for every child. Please note there are height restrictions for the use of the penguin skating aids (which means these are not suitable for adults or children taller than 1.2m)

Q. Can an adult use a penguin skate aid?
A. Penguins are for anyone under 1.2metres, any taller would cause the penguins to topple over.

Q. Is there parking at ice skating in Blanchardstown?
A. Yes, parking is available at the event in the White Car Park and is Free of Charge.

Q. Are there toilets on-site at Ice Skating Blanchardstown?
A. There are toilets available for use. You will have to remove your skates for your own safety in order to use the toilets. We recommend visiting the toilets in advance of your skate.

Q. Do you have lockers?
A. Yes, you need a (non-refundable) €2 coin.

Q. Do you have changing rooms?
A. No, we do not have any changing rooms.

Q.What do I wear?
A. Comfortable clothing, that you don’t mind getting (slightly) wet and thick socks, also bring spare socks just in case.

Q. Do you have any ASD-friendly sessions?
A. Yes we do. Our ASD sessions will be scheduled for 2022 soon. Keep an eye on our social media pages and our website for updates or please contact us.

Q. Is there a discount for Carers?
A. Yes, Carers skate for free once carers book their tickets in advance with customer care as we cannot guarantee availability on the day.

Q. Is it Real Ice?
A. Of course- we are the Irish Partners of Austrian ice rink suppliers AST. We also use Ice Resurfacers (Zambonis) to resurface our ice regularly.

Q. Can I rent out the rink for a private function?
A. Yes, please contact us for availability.

Q. Sharpen skates?
A. We do not offer a sharpening service for your personal skates.

Q. Do we have to have skates for ice skating Blanchardstown?
A. Skate rental is included in the ticket price. If you have your own skates there is no reduction in the ticket price.

Q. Is there insurance for Ice Skating Blanchardstown?
A. Iceskating.ie takes all reasonable care to ensure your comfort and safety however this is an ice rink where falls are likely to occur and consequently we specifically do not accept any liability whatsoever for injuries sustained while ice skating. Use of the facilities is entirely at the user’s own risk. There is no insurance cover for injuries that occur while ice skating.
